Pro Advantage® Calcium Alginate Dressing is available in flat dressings or wound packing rope. Calcium alginate is a wound exudate absorber for moderately to heavily draining wounds.

Dressings are non-woven and non-adhesive. Soft and cozy, products are needled to enhance comfort. Highly absorbent, it can also be removed in one piece after gelling.

It may be appropriately used for Stage II and IV pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, arterial and diabetic ulcers, donor sites, superficial burn wounds, surgical incisions, abrasions, lacerations and traumatic wounds.
