The GE eTrax Needle Tip Tracking System Starter Kit helps physicians track the tip of a needle in real-time. This system provides great utility while performing needle procedures and provides more safety and security.

Fast and Easy-to-use: This system’s consequential positive impact on needle tip localization and needle path prediction has led to increased accuracy of ultrasound-guided electromagnetically tracked biopsies. Such a high level of accuracy has permitted easy, fast, and safe needle placement in targeted locations.

Safe Intervention: Real-time image fusion with ultrasound and electromagnetic needle tracking allow highly accurate and secure intervention in areas that are usually not visualized or are challenging to visualize sonographically. ETrax system is beneficial in areas covered by air or hidden behind bone or lesions only seen on CT, MRI, or PET. Electromagnetic needle tracking enables continuous visualization of the needle tip during the entire procedure because the needle tip is electronically marked on the ultrasound system screen.
