When struck against a surface or with another object, the prongs of the tuning fork vibrate at a specific frequency, which produces a specific pitch. Baseline weighted tuning forks are perfect for hearing testing, neuropathy testing, and joint pain, muscle pain, and muscle tension relief. The tuning forks are weighted for heavier frequency and come in standard and student grade.
