Summit Doppler is dedicated to providing healthcare professionals with high-quality, simple, sensitive dopplers for several healthcare specialties. Their Vista ABI system is Medicare reimbursable and designed for the diagnosis of peripheral arterial disease. It includes everything necessary for faster, more accurate ABI (ankle brachial pressure index) testing and documentation.
Main unit
The body of the ABI system is streamlined and easy to use. Its large graphic waveform display automatically shows ABI calculations, while an on-screen step-by-step ABI guide assists in the acquisition and interpretation of exams. The doppler obtains two pressure readings - PT and DP - at each ankle site and is capable of administration of seated ABI for patients with limited mobility. The main unit features pulse volume recording (PVR) waveform modality for exam flexibility to suit a more diverse population.
The system is completely modular, allowing for the addition of PC download software and/or arterial photoplethysmography (PPG) probes (both sold separately) at any time. It includes a built-in thermal printer for hard documentation of ABI exam results.
Probe
The doppler includes one 8 MHz bi-directional general vascular probe.
Accessories
A hand-held controller provides easy navigation. The system includes four blood pressure cuffs with automatic inflation and deflation for a full diagnostic package.
The doppler is mounted to a wheeled mobile stand with attached storage basket for room-to-room portability.
