The BD Ultra-Fine™ Short Pen Needle with PentaPoint™ Comfort is a new variation of the classic BD Ultra-Fine™ Short Pen Needle. It is claimed to be the #1 best selling brand of pen needles in the market, available in a wide range of sizes built to be compatible with leading pen injection devices. The availability of variations of this product allows for a better compatibility with patient needs.

Already less painful than typical pen needles as BD claims, the Ultra-Fine™ needle now fosters a new design that emphasizes comfort even more. The classic BD insulin pen needle is built with a triple bevel tip. With the new Pentapoint™ Comfort feature however, the needle tips are designed with 5 bevels. This results to an even less painful and more comfortable injection experience for the patient.
