Tambour Door for Shelving Units - Thinstak, 4Post, Vu-Stak

The Tambour Door from Datum ensures privacy and security for your medical records stored in ThinStak, 4Post, or Vu-Stak stationary shelving.

Secure: The tambour retractable locking door offers HIPAA-compliant secure storage for open-shelf shelving systems. It features a pincer-action lock with 2 keys provided.

Durable: The door is constructed of strong, wear-resistant extruded thermo plastic with a durable steel housing and base. All steel parts are coated with a corrosion-resistant powder-coat paint finish.

Convenient: There is a built-in handle located about 32" from the floor for easy opening and closing, as well as a pre-tensioned spring-loaded mechanism for proper balance and movement of the door. Installation is simple.

Specifications: The door will add 10" to the overall height and 3-1/4" to the overall depth of your shelving unit. There is a 2" space between the edge of the shelf and the tambour door. There is a choice of widths and heights corresponding to the height and width of your shelving unit.

Choose Width

You have a choice of 5 widths corresponding to the width of your shelving unit. The choices are 24", 30", 36", 42", and 48" Wide. The width includes the door and the housing around the door.

Select Height

The Tambour Door comes with many choices of height ranging from 65" to 88" High. After the tambour door is installed, there will be a 10" addition to the height of your shelving cabinet. For example, if you choose the 65" high door for your 65" high cabinet, it will include a 10" housing above the door and your cabinet will be 75" high altogether. Choose Frame Color

You can choose from 20 color options for the housing and frame of your door (preferably matching to your shelving unit). The actual door color is either Charcoal Gray or Putty depending on which housing and frame color you choose. Bone White, Soft White, and Ivory frames have a Putty colored door and the rest have a Charcoal Gray door.
