Nonin Medical's 7500 tabletop pulse oximeter has a unique low-profile design that enables it to fit easily and discreetly on any tabletop. The stylish, compact 7500's simple functionality, minimum 16-hour battery life, 4-hour quick recharge, and minimum or 70 hours of memory makes it well-suited for a variety of clinical and homecare applications. Like all Nonin portable oximeters, the 7500 provides a wide variety of display indicators that provide reliable readings.

Pulse oximetry and connectivity

The device is equipped with PureSAT® pulse oximetry technology for highly accurate readings under challenging conditions. It may be used on patients of all sizes - neonate through adult - in all settings, from homecare to acute care. It may be used as a stand-alone device, though its analog output capability allows it to interface easily with other equipment. For advanced memory and analysis, it is compatible with nVision® SpO2 software (sold separately).

Display and indicators

The oximeter's large, bright LED displays provide clear readability and a user-friendly interface with a variety of display indicators for full, reliable readings. A color-coded pulse strength bar graph assists in assessing the patient’s status. An audible tone sounds with each pulse. The pitch changes with the patient’s saturation level. The pulse quality indicator detects patient movement or signal quality changes that may require sensor site stabilization, while the sensor fault indicator shows that a sensor is disconnected, misaligned, failed, or incompatible with the monitor.

Alarm

The 7500’s flexible alarm management options include patient security mode, which locks alarm limits, volume and time/date settings, prevents unintentional changes and provides automatic recall of locked limits. The recall function automatically reinstates the user's last customized alarm settings, and user-defined default allows users to adjust the alarm limit and volume default settings to their specific requirements.

Memory and design

The tabletop pulse oximeter provides 70 hours of memory, assuming continuous operation, for extended monitoring purposes. It is lightweight and compact, yet durable and rugged.
