Datum Stak-N-Lok® BiSlider™ retractable-door medical filing units are designed to maximize storage space efficiency, offer easy access to files, and provide the secure HIPAA-compliant storage your office needs for sensitive records and other materials. This configuration consists of a double row of shelves with three shelving units in the back and two in front. Stak-N-Lok Stackable Shelving

Files are easily accessed through the flip-up retractable doors, allowing safe access to all tiers simultaneously, unlike lateral file units. A secure, HIPAA-compliant gang-locking door system locks all tiers simultaneously, keeping your office's medical records and other sensitive materials safe.

The versatile Stak-N-Lok™ system is fully expandable - individual tiers can be stacked to create custom, modular solutions for your office's unique storage requirements. As your capacity requirements increase, simply add more units. Mix and match different sizes to make the most of your available storage space.

The units are constructed of durable rust-free cold-rolled steel out any sharp edges. They are powder-coated for a high quality, corrosion-resistant finish. Each tier includes two steel adjustable file dividers that can be positioned on 2" centers along the shelf length. The unit's base features 4 threaded leveling domes for added stability and the doors have black handles for a finished look.

TrakSlider Filing System

The Bi-Slider double depth file storage system consists of two rows of shelving units in which the front row slides from side to side on tracks, providing access to the back row of files. This method of storing your medical files greatly maximizes the use of floor space. The modular design of this systems allows for easy expansion as your storage requirements increase. All Datum TrakSlider™ systems can be reconfigured and added onto at any time without the need to disassemble, relocate, or remove existing files.

The carriages include four wheels that ride on a double rail track for an added measure of stability and safety. Just a light push moves the durable steel shelving units along the tracks. The tracks feature ball-bearing construction, four wheels per carriage, and specially-designed rubber end stops for quiet, smooth, and easy operation. The heavy-duty welded steel construction includes an overhead anti-tip mechanism to ensure safe and easy movement of files. A reinforced steel leveling track means you can use the system safely, even on non-level floors!

Track units consist of modular, all-welded steel frame and rail assemblies, flush decking, lateral rolling carriages, as well as overhead stabilizer and roller assemblies.

Choose Design

There are two designs to choose from - Base Model or With Posting Shelf and Spacer. The Posting Shelf and Spacer option has units with posting shelves in the front row and units with spacers in the back row. The Posting Shelf is a retractable shelf above the third tier, providing an additional work surface. The Spacer units have a space above the third tier for a uniform height when placed adjacent to the cabinets with posting shelves.
