LOOK™ Silk Sutures have excellent handling and tying characteristics. Made of noncapillary silk, these sutures offer great tensile strength. Modern braiding technique ensures that suture surface is smooth, for better penetration and reduced tissue trauma. They are equivalent to PERMA-HAND™ Silk and Covidien SofSilk™.

LOOK™ Silk Sutures are available in black, in various sizes and suture lengths. Size 0 is best used for closure of the fascia layer in abdominal surgery, or for knee, hip and back surgery. Size 3-0 is for closure of muscle layers or bowel repair, while 5-0 is for larger vessel repair. Size 6-0 is used in vascular graft sewing. These sutures feature Reverse Cutting needles, which feature a triangular point with cutting edge on the outer curvature. Extra sharp cutting edges reduce tissue drag. Excellent for skin closure, ligamentous or fibrous tissues. Available in 12 per box. All sutures are packaged in a sterile, double pouch for sterile transfer.
