The ShearCare Pressure Redistribution Mattress from Drive Medical and Mason Medical is an excellent pressure redistribution option for homecare and long term care patients.
Excellent Pressure Redistribution: The mattress is divided into 3 distinct zones for pressure redistribution and 670 individual cells for maximum comfort. There are varying cell depths throughout the mattress zones to provide maximum pressure redistribution. This mattress was developed in order to provide an excellent mattress that is not too pricey but is just as effective as other similar products.
Safe and Convenient: A concealed zipper and a Barrier Stop Over-Flap protect the mattress core from fluids. The 2-way stretch mattress cover provides a low shear, anti-microbial, and water resistant surface. The mattress meets Federal Fire Code CFR 16 part 1633. An optional unique SSPT Rail System™ provides support on the edge of the mattress which allows for easy patient transfers.
Specifications: The top mattress cover is made of nylon and the bottom cover is made of vinyl. The mattress's width is 36" and its height is 6". It weighs 24 lbs. and has a weight capacity of 300 lbs. It comes with a 5 year limited warranty on the foam and a 1 year limited warranty on the cover.
