Riester Ri-former Integrated Diagnostic Wall System is a fully expandable and customizable wall system designed to provide optimum flexibility to hospitals and other health-care facilities. This system is able to grow and adapt with your practice - the transformer comes with two instrument handles and is compatible with up to three more. Ri-former is a perfect example of the exceptional mechanics for which Germany is renowned; these diagnostic instruments are guaranteed to allow for thorough examination and reliable results, every time.

Outstanding Features
The Ri-former System has two 3.5V / 120V Handles, one Otoscope and one Ophthalmoscope head of your choice. The two Diagnostic Handles are assembled with rheotronic® function that enables a continuously variable electronic light intensity adjustment. An automated switch on/off efficiently exerts the power-saving function. The Handles have an anti-theft feature for added security. In addition, the Handles are made of a solid metal with chrome plated finish that ensure outstanding durability. The System has latex-free coiled tubing that measures 10 feet and comes complete with a wall mounting plate, plugs, screws, and an assembly plan.

LED Technology Advantages
Some Ri-scope® L Otoscope and Ophthalmoscope models are assembled with LEDs that provide numerous advantages to the user and are a great alternative to the conventional Xenon lights. Since LED lamps have an almost unlimited life time, they classify as maintenance-free units and their use leads to low running costs. In addition, LED lights feature the highest luminosity, heat-free performance and provide true-colors which greatly benefits the diagnosis efficiency.

Otoscope Options

Ri-Scope® L1 LED Otoscope
L1 is the most inexpensive and basic Otoscope model available with this Wall System. It offers direct illumination and features a bi-directional swiveling optical glass with 3x magnification. This Otoscope is suitable for pneumatic examination.

Ri-Scope® L2 LED Otoscope
The Ri-Scope® L2 LED Otoscope features an advanced fiberoptics that ensures optimal beaming and light transmission, while the bi-directional swiveling, sealing optical glass provides a 3-fold magnification. High-performance 3.5V LED light provides 4000 Kelvin for excellent illumination and natural colors. The integrated F.O. throat illuminator allows for a more thorough examination, efficient diagnostic and better patient outcome. For extra flexibility, the L2 Otoscope is compatible not only with e-scope® / ri-mini® / pen-scope® specula by Riester but also with many units by other well-known brands. In addition, the unit is suitable for pneumatic tests and is equipped with an anti-theft device for uncompromised security. A large selection of power sources ensures a truly flexible user experience.

Ri-Scope® L3 LED Otoscope
The Ri-Scope® L3 LED Otoscope features an advanced fiberoptics that ensures optimal beaming and light transmission, while the bi-directional swiveling, sealing optical glass provides a 3-fold magnification. High-performance 3.5V LED light provides 4000 Kelvin for excellent illumination and natural colors. The integrated F.O. throat illuminator allows for a more thorough examination, efficient diagnostic and better patient outcome. The SpecEject® device allows to safely dispose the used cannula eliminating the risks of cross contamination and all with just a push of a button. In addition, the unit is suitable for pneumatic tests and is equipped with an anti-theft device for uncompromised security. A large selection of power sources ensures a truly flexible user experience.

Ophthalmoscope Options
All Ri-scope® L Ophthalmoscope models are equipped with an outstanding, high-performance optics that feature aspherical condenser lens. The specialty optics ensures reduced reflection effect, while the separation of the parallel observation and illumination beams help avoid corneal and iris reflexes. Ri-scope® L allows precise diagnostics even with narrow pupils since the illuminated retinal area is fully visible. All Ri-scope® L models are dust proof ensuring a trouble-free operation.

Ri-Scope® L1 Xenon Ophthalmoscope
This is the most inexpensive ophthalmsocope model available with this Wall System, but still has all the basic functions required for thorough examination and accurate diagnosis. It includes a diopter wheel with 29 corrective lenses, and an easy-to-use, marked aperture wheel with semi-circle, small, medium and large circle, fixation star, slit and red-free filters, which have a contrast-enhancing effect for easier viewing. The ophthalmoscope has an aspherical condenser lens and parallel beam path for high-performance optics, and is dust-proof for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Ri-scope® L2 Xenon/LED 3.5V Ophthalmoscope
The Ri-scope® L2 Ophthalmoscope is offered in two configurations with Xenon or LED light illumination. Both models feature an advanced dioptre wheel with a total of 29 corrective lenses that include +1-10, +12, +15, +20, +40 and -1-10, -15, -20, -25, -30, -35. The easy-to-use aperture hand wheel allows switching between 6 apertures that are semi-circle, small/medium/large circle, fixation star and slit. The filter wheel works for all apertures and has a symbol display, red-free filter, blue filter and polarization filter.

Ri-scope® L3 LED 3.5V Ophthalmoscope
The Ri-scope® L3 Ophthalmoscope includes several advancements for even more through and precise eye examination. This unit is equipped with a corrective lenses for 89 dioptre values that allow single step adjustments in a Plus range of 1 to 45, and Minus range of 1 to 44. The easy-to-use aperture hand wheel allows switching between 7 apertures that are semi-circle, small/medium/large circle, fixation star, grid and slit. The filter wheel works for all apertures and has a symbol display, red-free filter, blue filter and polarization filter. In addition, L3 Ophthalmoscope has a focusing device with zero retention force for the quick correction of ametropias.
