Sharpoint™ PLUS PolySyn™ Absorbable Sutures with Precision Conventional Cutting Needles, 3/8 Circle, are synthetic, braided, coated sutures developed for General skin closure, subcutaneous tissue, ophthalmic surgery, or reconstructive surgery.

Sharpoint™ PolySyn™ Sutures consistently meet the demands of surgery professionals worldwide. Packaged in dry or in wetting solution, these sutures are strong and sharp, thus they easily penetrate the skin. PolySyn™ Sutures are equivalent to Ethicon VICRYL™ Polysorb™ Dexon™.

Made from polyglycolic acid, these sutures have a proprietary coating, which ensures superior smoothness and low friction for less tissue drag. Absorption is essentially complete between 50 and 90 days.

PolySyn™ Sutures are available as undyed or violet in color, in various sizes. Sizes 4-0 and 5-0 are used in larger vessel repair or skin closure.

These sutures feature Precision Conventional Reverse Cutting needles, which has a triangular point with cutting edge on the inner curvature and precision-honed for extra sharpness. Available in 12 per box. All sutures are packaged in a sterile, double pouch for sterile transfer.
