The Welch Allyn PanOptic LED Ophthalmoscope Head is an innovative and excellent medical device used by healthcare professionals to properly assess and view the inner part of a patient’s eye, also known as fundus, and its surrounding structures. This reliable tool is used to properly diagnose any eye condition that will effectively enhance patient care.

Improved Visualization: This PanOptic Ophthalmoscope Head is equipped with long-lasting LED lamps that will ensure years of efficient and bright viewing. It can be used to examine the retina, cornea, lens and inner parts of the eye through effective illumination and magnification for both pediatric and adult patients.

Reliable Magnification & Durability: Since the device has a 20x larger viewing area than a normal Ophthalmoscope, the clinician can easily view and observe sharp eye images, giving better assessment for the patient. It also has the Durashock technology feature, making it a durable and efficient medical device for day-to-day clinical practices.

The Welch Allyn PanOptic LED Ophthalmoscope head comes with a reusable eye cup which is used to establish and maintain an appropriate viewing distance, and a comfortable distance between the clinician and patient. The device is compatible with any Welch Allyn 3.5V Power Handles, or pair it with the Welch Allyn Lithium Ion Plus Power Handle to achieve increased efficiency.

The PanOptic Basic LED Ophthalmoscope Head with all the standard features is available. Welch Allyn also offers the PanOptic Plus LED Ophthalmoscope Head, which is designed to have the Quick Eye Alignment Technology. This innovative technology equips the device with 2 lights on the patient’s side, which helps and guides the patient’s gaze for a more effective optic disc alignment.
