In both cases the light source can be repositioned and adjusted with one hand simple manipulation. Extremely smooth focus is regulated with the use of a convenient autoclavable SteriHandle™, easy to clean, sterilize and replace, perfect for sterile environments. With Coolspot II the user get a Bi-level dimmer that allows variable light intensity/spot size, adjustable in a range of 2″ to 10″. Taking into account the need of long use hours in case with Outpatient II, Burton engineers have wired the bulbs in parallel for dependable continues service, while the heat filters and dichroic coatings ensure the cool operation of the system. In addition, this Procedure Light system is assembled with a convenient knob that allows adjusting friction to the desired tension “on the go”, with no additional tools used.

The light source is provided with a 150 watt halogen bulb that features 600-hour life.
