Sharpoint™ Plus Nylon Ophthalmic Monofilament Side Cutting Lancet Sutures, 1/2 Circle, are synthetic surgical sutures designed for delicate ophthalmic procedures such as corneal transplant or Penetrating Keratoplasty (PK).

These lancets are made of non-absorbable, monofilament nylon that is characterized by superior sharpness, penetration, and strength. Smooth and supple material ensures excellent handling and knot security. They also pass easily through tissue for reduced trauma and prevention of tissue ingrowth.

These Nylon Sutures are dyed in black, in various sizes and suture lengths, with a curvature fraction of 3/8 circle. Side cutting lancet is a spatula needle with the cutting edge on the inner or outer curvature. Sizes 9-0 and 10-0 are typically used in Ophthalmic surgery, repair of small, damaged nerves and other delicate surgeries. Available in 12 per box.
