Sharpoint™ PLUS Nylon Non-Absorbable Sutures with Precision Reverse Cutting Needles, 3/8 Circle, are high-quality, smooth and sterile sutures that consistently meet the rigorous demands of surgery professionals worldwide. Sharpoint™ Nylon Non-Absorbable Sutures are used in general & skin closure, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, microsurgery, cardiovascular surgery, and gastrointestinal procedures.

Characterized by superior sharpness, penetration, and strength, Sharpoint™ Nylon Sutures demonstrate excellent tensile strength and durability during any surgical procedure. Soft and supple material ensures excellent handling and knot security. These sutures are made from monofilament nylon, which pass easily through tissue for reduced trauma and prevention of tissue ingrowth. Sharpoint™ Nylon Sutures are equivalent to Ethicon® Ethilon and Covidien® Monosof™.

These Nylon Sutures are dyed in black, in various sizes and suture lengths. Size 3-0 is for closure of muscle layers or bowel repair. Sizes 4-0 and 5-0 are for larger vessel repair. Sizes 6-0 and 7-0 are used in vascular graft sewing. These sutures feature Precision Reverse Cutting Needles, which feature a triangular point with cutting edge on the outer curvature, precision-honed for added sharpness. Used in plastic surgery for delicate procedures. Available in 12 per box.
