The CP Medical Monomid® Non-Absorbable Sutures with Precision Reverse Cutting P3 Needles, 3/8 Circle are sterile, synthetic surgical sutures intended for use in soft tissue approximation and ligation, as well as cardiovascular, ophthalmic, dermatological, and neurological procedures.

These sutures are made of monofilament Nylon type 6 or Nylon type 6/6. This material ensures that each suture is of uniform diameter, with excellent knot security. They are also smooth and flexible with minimal memory. The smooth surface reduces the risk of infection. These non-absorbable sutures are also suitable for longer-term wound closures and veterinary use. These Monomid® Sutures are equivalent to Ethicon® ETHILON®, Look® Monofilament Nylon, Sharpoint® A Monofilament Nylon, and Covidien® MONOSOFT®.

The sutures are dyed black with P3 precision reverse cutting needles. These needles are strong and sharp, with a fine cutting edge. Excellent for small closures in skin, oral mucosa or plastic surgery. Size 4-0 and 5-0 are best used for larger vessel repair, such as an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, while Size 6-0 is great for vascular graft sewing. Latex-free. Available in 12 per box.
