The Smiths Medical Jelco Needle-Pro Safety Needle w/ 3mL Syringe (400/case) is a combination of a hypodermic safety needle and a 3mL luer lock syringe, which is primarily used by healthcare professionals to inject liquid medication to a patient or draw specimen from them in a safely manner. Each needle comes with a safety device that protects the clinician from needlestick injury after injection. This safety cover ensures that the needle is locked inside and remains protective through disposal.

The syringe has a clear, and bold scale markings on its barrel, to provide accurate medication doses. The safety needle is sharp, and enables a comfortable injection for the patient. A single-handed technique can be done for the injection of the medication and activation of the safety device after injection, that reduces the accidental exposure of the clinician to any contaminations.
