The BD Hazardous Drug Check Analyzer is the only rapid test for detecting hazardous drug (HD) contamination on surfaces. It is built around a compact, handheld design that is convenient to use.

Hazardous Drug Detection Inadvertent contamination is a very possible risk, especially in hospital settings. These pose a health risk to staff and patients, potentially affecting internal organs, increasing cancer and reproductive risk, and having possible adverse effects on DNA and RNA. HD monitoring correlates to a reduction in contamination levels when done regularly.

LFIA Technology The analyzer is a lateral flow immunoassay utilizing surface swabbing to detect common harmful agents, including methotrexate and doxorubicin. Results are available in 10 minutes with a certainty of 95%.

Quick and Easy Use The instrument features excellent usability. Its handheld design makes it convenient to use for routine testing. Results are rapidly processed and are displayed on an easy-to-read screen. The procedure calls for just eight simple steps. Furthermore, the onboard electronic result logbook allows for HD contamination tracking overtime.
