Overview for Drive 18720 Handy-Ox Pulse Oximeter

The Handy-Ox Pulse Oximeter with wrap on sensor from Drive is a portable, programmable oximeter designed for optimal convenience.

Clear readings: The Handy-Ox Pulse Oximeter gives two digit SpO2 readings and three digit heart rate numeric output. Features a bar graph option to enable easy reading of results. Results are displayed on a two way, multi-view color thin fiml transistor liquid crystal screen.

Battery powered: Handy-Ox has a long life lithium rechargeable battery with a minimum of 500 charges, and includes an AC adapter. It also features audio and visual low battery warnings.

Alarms: This device will alarm if the PR or SpO2 exceed preset low and high parameters, or if the battery has a low charge, or if the patient’s finger is removed

(If the alarm function is on, the device will provide a medium priority alarm signal when the probe plug or finger is out. An intermittent alarm will occur and the user interface presents “FINGER OUT”. Medium priority indicates that prompt operator response is required)

Computer compatible: Handy-Ox comes as a complete pulse oximetry kit, including user-friendly software and a USB cable to connect the transistor to a PC to either upload data from the previous 24 hours or use as real-time transfer to a desktop.
