BD Filter Pharmacy Needles offer a highly efficient alternative to conventional needles providing maximum safety to patients. The Needles are proven to provide a cost-saving solution reducing the risks of particulate contamination and the cost of the product itself.

Excellent Features

Filter Pharmacy Needles by BD are intended to aid the workflow, covering a full range of all the medication preparation needs. The Filter Needle features a design focused on enhanced patient safety. The 5 Micron molded-in filter membrane eliminates the risks of particulate contamination that often leads to infusion-related phlebitis to patients. Filter Needles allow safely aspirating, reconstituting and transferring fluids when working with glass ampoules with no risks to the patients. The Nokor™ Point configuration address the requirements of some medication manufacturers who recommend placing the fluid on the side of a container for a more efficient aspiration. For this purpose the Nokor™ Point features a cannula side port allowing to avoid medication foaming or spray of powdered medication. For added convenience the Needles come with a color coded protective shield. Red shield color allows immediate assessment, alerting users that the product is blunt tipped.
