Welch Allyn Disposable Flow Transducers are high quality accessories design for maximum efficiency. Spirometry provides a measure of lung function, specifically the amount and speed of air that can be inhaled and exhaled and generates pneumotachographs for diagnosis and assessment of conditions such as COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, bronchitis, and shortness of breath. Welch Allyn offers a full line of spirometry equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various pulmonary conditions; they require flow transducers, for patients to blow into, for proper use. The transducers are disposable, eliminating cross-contamination and the need for bacteria filters and disinfection. Their innovative design prevents expired air from entering pressure tubing. The Transducers are available in two configurations for enhanced flexibility and are compatible with CardioPerfect Workstation and CP 200 Electrocardiograph or Welch Allyn CP 150 with Spirometry and CPWS 5.
