Drive 15033 Delta Ultra Light 1000 Full Electric Bed features a universal bed frame that can be used with most bed ends, even those that are not manufactured by Drive.
The hospital bed's head and footboards have composite end panels that are break and scratch-resistant. Installing side rails is also trouble-free because of the medical bed's useful labels and color-coded springs. Such mechanism reinforces the proper set up of rails, thus contributing in patient safety.
Drive 15033 boasts of a UL-approved and self-contained motor that's equipped with a 9-volt battery to guarantee continuous operation in the event of a power outage. The head and foot board may still be lowered or raised up to 9 times during a blackout because of the electric hospital bed's back up battery. The unit also comes with an enhanced hand pendant that's easy to hold and manipulate. For additional comfort, the headboard is elevated and the motor is ergonomically designed with noise reduction features.
The full electric hospital bed from Drive has a zinc-coated spring deck that assures durability even with its weight of only 160 pounds. In fact, it can support a person weighing up to 450 pounds. If an 80-inch bed length isn't enough to keep a patient comfortable, there's an available extension kit that can add another 4 inches to the unit.
