The Adtemp™ 422 is a digital thermometer that is designed for veterinary use. It measures 5 3/4" in length 1" in width and has a 10 second response time. It features both Fahrenheit and Celsius readings with a temperature range of 90° F - 111.9° F plus or minus .2° F, and 32.0° C - 43.9° C plus or minus .1° C. This meets the required accuracy under the ASTM E1112 international rating. Included in the package are a case for the thermometer and 5 sheaths.

The Adtemp™ 422 Veterinary Thermometer is sold by the each, in a poly bag. It can be bought 20 per carton or 400 per case as well. It uses a replaceable 1.55v (LR41) battery that lasts for up to 1,500 uses. It is blue and white in color and it is latex free. It comes with instructions for use and has a two year warranty.

I would buy this product again.

We purchased this product to use on our 19 year old John mule. He is a sweetheart, but isn't happy about having his temperature taken. This product is in and out so fast, he doesn't have time to object! It is very easy to use, and has a loop on the end so you can tie a string/clip to attach to the animal's tail so it won't hit the ground if it was to be expelled unexpectedly. Great product. Would definitely recommend.
