Overview for ThermoFisher FAB1100CW-C Accula Flu A/B Test Control Kit, 6 tests/kt

The Thermofisher Scientific Accula Flu A/B Test Control Kit is a quality control specimen for the Accula Influenza A and B in vitro diagnostic test. The whole package comes with three (3) Flu A Positive/Flu B Negative and three (3) Flu A Negative/Flu B Positive controls, and is usually obtained by healthcare professionals who are in need of additional control tests. A standard set (1 of each test) is already available with the Accula Flu A/B Test Kit (FAB1100CW).

Reliable Testing & Performance: The Mesa Biotech Accula control ensures the Flu A/B Test Kit's functionality and operator performance, including the testing procedure's proper conduct. The kit contains inactivated Influenza A & B virus, dried onto a swab and treated as actual samples in the tester, and is used with the Accula Dock testing device. It is advisable to run the quality control test once for each new lot or shipment of Flu A/B Tests received, once for each new operator, and if needed to conform with quality control regulations.

The Thermofisher Scientific Accula Flu A/B Test Control Kit ensures that testing is sensitive and reliable, with its 94% (Flu A) and 99% (Flu B) Specificity, and 97% (Flu A) and 94% (Flu B) Sensitivity. This complies with the 510 (k) Class II Medical Device certification, and is CLIA-waived.
