The Edan Acclarix AX4 Ultrasound System is a high fidelity, high channel count, compact, premium, and high-performance imaging platform, with advanced imaging technology, designed to provide hospitals, clinics or medical facilities exceptional processing power that results in outstanding image quality.

Awesome Design. With a high-definition, 15" LCD monitor that tilts and swivel for optimal viewing at any angle, the Acclarix AX4 has 64 physical channels for exceptional system performance and dual gesture-controlled touchscreens that simplifies and increases workflow efficiency of medical personnel. The 10" touchscreen is customizable to personalize the workflow while the 5" multi-touch, virtual trackball provides users with multiple functions at their fingertips. The system has a fully-sealed and easy-to-clean control panel, which aid in infection control, an integrated 500 GB hard drive, and 4 USB Ports to archive images.

Advanced, Affordable and Portable. The Acclarix AX4 Ultrasound System is based on Edan's flagship Acclarix AX8. It imbues the same Silicon Valley innovation and exceptional design expertise in a more cost-effective package. With its small-form-factor, the AX4 can conveniently be transported where it is needed and with, its extended battery operation, is ideal for use in any healthcare environment. The standard system configuration includes Tissue Adaptive Imaging (Edan's proprietary imaging technology), Harmonic Imaging, Spatial Compound Imaging, eSRI Speckle Reduction Imaging, Doppler Imaging (Color Doppler, Power Doppler, Directional Power Doppler Imaging) and Pulsed Wave Doppler.

Tissue Adapting Imaging With Edan's proprietary and unique technology, the TIA (Tissue Adapting Imaging) continuously and dynamically interacts with the returning echoes and quickly adapts the image based on the tissues' characteristics being imaged. It is available in B-mode, color, and spectral Doppler. The TIA enhances image contrast, improve anatomic boundaries definition, tissue architecture and bring out clutter noise. It also has improved color sensitivity, better flow aesthetics, Spectral-fill-in and border detection.

Speckle Reduction Imaging The Speckle Reduction Imaging uses an advanced multi-scale anisotropic filtering algorithm and real-time image processing that improves visualization of anatomy and pathology by reducing the speckle noise. This technology separates the regions of noise from diagnostic information by operating in a different manner on noise versus true anatomic information which results in an enhanced image clarity.

Spatial Compounding Imaging The Spatial Compounding Imaging combines multiple images taken at different angles and collates them to form a single image for improved quality. Because of this, image results have reduced speckle noise and enhanced contrast.
