Flexible reliability: Ac-T diff 2 offers a full range of safe, flexible options to optimize the lab's efficiency when testing. A small 18µL whole blood sample or 20µL predilute sample, obtained from venous or capillary blood, can be aspirated for use in either the open or closed vial modes. Predilutes are prepared by the onboard dispenser. The closed vial mode accommodates sampling from a variety of collection tube sizes, and can be used for controls and calibration liquids to guarantee operator safety and maximize the lab's efficiency. This system offers a wide operating range with 18 different parameters, and multiple output formats. Additionally, it features three user-definable high/low ranges for flagging patient results, which, together with quality control tests, simplifies data interpretation and allows clinicians to easily and immediately pick up on any abnormalities that may indicate ill health.
Sophisticated technology: This fully automated system performs CBCs with a proven 3-part histogram differential, for consistent accuracy and highly reliable results. The wide operating ranges include extended platelet counting and linearity of WBC and PLT. Triplicate counting and patented sweepflow technology, combined with automated aperture monitoring, guarantee accurate results. The triplicate counting allows for reproducibility in results: these are combined with onboard calibration to file automatic statistical calculations, helping to maximize accuracy.
Practical, user friendly design: This compact analyzer has been designed to sit snugly on a desktop in just two square feet, helping to save space in busy laboratory settings where space is short. The device has efficient data management solutions to help manage laboratory workflow. All results are easily obtained and viewed in a choice of six different reporting styles, allowing for a customized work flow to suit the individual needs of every facility. The device is operated through a touchscreen with language-independent icons, and results printouts are obtainable from the onboard printer. Ac-T diff 2 has data storage for 250 patient results, and QC storage for 3 controls and 279 results. It has manual patient ID data entry up to 14 characters.

Tainer reagent kit: This kit contains three different reagent solutions: a balanced electrolyte solution for use as an isotonic buffered diluent solution for counting and sizing blood cells, a lytic reagent for quantitively determining hemoglobin and for counting and sizing leukocytes, and a shutdown diluent for removing protein build-ups on components of the analyzer that come into contact with blood samples.
