The user takes the Å"temperature of the 9600 Plus Calibration Tester with the knowledge and assurance that precise readings are obtained because the unit is factory calibrated to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) or equivalent devices. adjustments are not required or recommended.
The Å"blackbody of the 9600 Plus Calibration System acts as a heat reservoir for the thermistor probe and as a heat radiator for the infrared ear thermometer.
