The Amerex 5 lbs Multi-Purpose ABC Fire Extinguisher with Aluminum Valve (3A:40B:C) is a 3-in-1 fire extinguisher that effectively stops fires caused by paper, wood, flammable gas and liquids, and electrical equipment. Suitable for small to medium spaces such as offices, schools, hospitals, homes, and cars. UL-approved with a dating of 3A:40B:C, their firefighting power equals that of 3.75 gallons of water, and they are able to stop 40 square feet of Class B fires.

Better firefighting power. This Amerex Fire Extinguisher uses a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical that insulates Class A fires and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires. It melts at approximately 350°F. When sprayed, the 5 lbs ABC fire extinguisher can last up to 14 seconds and reach 12 to 18 feet.

With proper maintenance and service, it is guaranteed to last for a long time. Its stored pressure design boasts of sturdy steel cylinders, high-gloss polyester powder paint, and anodized aluminum valve body, handle, and lever. It also comes with a wall bracket.
