Puritan's 3" Cotton-Tipped Applicators with Wood Handle are all-purpose non-sterile general swabs designed for a variety of uses. This absorbent cotton tipped applicator is produced with High Quality USP grade cotton which is carded and coiled onsite to maintain consistency. It is bonded securely to a northern white birch wood handle by an aqueous based adhesive. They come with standard or large tips.

Uses include: wound care, application of topical dressings, specimen collection, applying adhesives or other liquids, removing dirt, contamination, fluxes or resins, cleaing with IPA or other solvents.
