The device is applicable for the use on soft tissues, skin and muscle precisely. The Derm 101 Desiccator with Monopolar power and Derm 102 Desiccator with Bipolar power both feature 10 watt power capacity. The output power can be easily adjusted with the use of the rotary encoder knob placed on the front panel of the unit or the up and down buttons on the handpiece. The power adjustment is available in 1/10th watt increments and the value is displayed in large digital numbers on the unit screen. The Desiccator is compatible with a footswitch which adds versatility when using a handpiece in the monopolar output and is required when using the bipolar output.
