The HemoCue StatSpin MP Centrifuge quickly and effectively centrifuges microhematocrit tubes for packed cell volume determination. Quality blood separation and preparation of urine sediment for microscopic analysis is also possible with this machine. You won't have to wait long for quality serum samples as it takes less than 2 minutes, or even as little as 30 seconds to complete.

Only small samples are required, making the StatSpin MP ideal for finger-stick operations, eliminating the need for venous blood collection. Some applications include blood separations, urine sediments, hematocrits, and LipoClear. Due to its small size and how quietly it operates, this general-purpose centrifuge is best suited for the STAT laboratory, clinic or office laboratory.

Specifications

The StatSpin MP Multipurpose Centrifuge weighs 5.5 lbs, and its rotor spins at a max of 15800 RPM with a centrifugal force of 12000g. It has a very fast acceleration time of about 6 seconds.
