Wireless Operation
SD6 Doppler has been engineered with an idea of an enhanced comfort and freedom of movement for the user. This goal has been reached by the implementation of infrared technology which exerts wireless connection between the main unit and the wireless probe. All the practical sides of such wireless operation have been worked out in details. As a result, the wireless probe features a remote operation function. The probe has On, Off and volume adjustment functional keys that allow controlling the monitoring procedure being on the distance from the main unit.

Excellent Features
The Doppler is assembled with a 2.7" LCD screen that displays measuring results in large digital numbers. The SD6 machine has 4 working modes that include Examining, Recording, Playing and Setting options. The Setting mode is a great tool that helps to optimize your workflow by providing options for screen backlight, key sound, auto-shut-off, language, and date and time adjustment. While dual high-fidelity speakers ensure superior sound for the mother to hear the baby’s heart beat, the care-giver can use earphones if conducting the monitoring procedure in a noisy environment. the Tabletop Wireless Doppler comprises a built-in recorder that allows recording and playing the fetal heart sound. The user can control recording time and make it up to 240 seconds. The main unit is powered by the Ni-MH battery that provides over 10 hours of continuous working. The wireless probe is also assembled with a rechargeable Lithium battery that assures continuous working for 3 hours.

Probe Options
Edan SD6 supports 2MHz and 3MHz obstetrical wireless probes that provide a great range of FHR monitoring capabilities. The 2MHz probe is recommended for the use in the third trimester pregnancy as it is optimized for a deep penetration. The 3MHz probe has a higher frequency and therefore features a wider detection range with a higher resolution. It is intended for the use on an early gestation stage.

Innovative Design
The superb design of SD6 features a great folding handle for hand carrying and a wireless probe holder situated on the top of the main unit exterior. The main unit and the probe are very easy to clean with the use of a cloth. The SD6 Doppler weight including battery and probe is only 3.75 lbs and the main unit measures 10.45" L x 6.10" W x 7.1" H. It includes a carrying case for easy transport.
