The Ri-screen® Medical Camera is a multi-purpose digital, wireless imaging device that takes still images and videos and can be used for E.N.T., Ophthalmology, and Dermatology purposes. It promotes accurate diagnoses and consistent monitoring of follow-up treatments. It can be connected to any patient database system via mini USB or AV output for data sharing purposes.
This Digital Medical Camera is powered by a Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery and uses an 8 GB micro SD card for information storage and sharing. It offers an operating time of 3 hours of continuous operation. The camera features a 3.5" full HD resolution, 1920 x 1080 Pixel, full color TFT-LCD display. The camera's imaging function uses a 2 MPixel CMOS image sensor and uses JPEG image format. The video function uses H.264 format.
The Camera has a bayonet type connector for attaching optic devices. The camera measures 3.5" L x 1.7" W x 8" H (89 x 44 x 205 mm) and weighs .55 lbs. (254 g). It is made in Germany and comes with a 2 year warranty.
The Camera's General Lens uses a Visible white LED light and has a focusing length of 4 mm. It measures 1" x 1.7" (24 x 44 mm) and weighs 1.7 oz. (49 g). All the lenses are available for purchase separately.
The Ri-screen Camera can be used with the Otoscopic Lens (No. 12370) for an enhanced view of the auditory canal wth the help of disposable and reusable 4 mm ear specula. The lens uses a Visible white LED light and has a focus range of 5 - 50 mm for viewing the entire auditory canal. The camera enables viewing of both auditory canals in real-time simultaneously for better diagnosis and treatment. The Otoscopic Lens measures 2.7" x 1.7" (69 x 44 mm) and weighs 2.4 oz. (68 g).
The Ri-screen Camera can be used for Dermatology with a Dermatoscopic Lens (No. 12373) for viewing the entire skin surface and measuring lesions of the skin. Skin lesions can be easily monitored using high resolution images. The Dermatoscopic Lens uses white and infrared LED lights and has a 10 mm field of view. The lens measures 2.2" x 1.8" (56 x 46 mm) and weighs 4 oz. (113 g). The lens can be removed for general dermotoscopy images, such as for burn injuries or bruises.
The Ophthalmoscopic Lenses for the Ri-screen Camera enable non-mydriatic eye fundus examination. One lens has a 25° field of view (No. 12371) and one has a 40° field of view (No. 12372). Optic discs, maculae, and retinal vasculature can be screened and documented for ocular lesions and anomalies using still and video imaging. The camera can be mounted on a slit lamp holder for ophthalmoscopic use, using an adapter for extra stability. The Ophthalmoscopic Lenses offer reflection-free imaging using white or infrared LED lights. The diopter range is -20D to +20D. The lenses measure 5.2" x 1.7" (133 x 42 mm) and weigh 4.2 oz. (120 g).
