Ri-scope L3 Ophthalmoscope

The Riester Ri-scope® L3 Ophthalmoscope is a high precision diagnostic instrument or focusing device with zero retention force, used for the quick correction of Ametropias. Excellent for the examination of the fundus to screen for eye diseases and conditions of the retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels. This device offers high performance optics for specific specialist needs.

This device features a diopter wheel of 89 corrective lenses with single-step diopter values; +1-45 and -1-44. It has an easy to use aperture hand wheel with semi-circle, small/medium/large circle, fixation star, and slit apertures. It has a filter wheel for all apertures; symbol display, red-free filter, blue filter, and polarization.

The ophthalmoscope has a focusing device with zero retention force for quick correction of the ametropias. It has an aspherical condenser lens and a parallel beam path. It features the Rheotronic® electronic switch for automatic switch-off after 120 seconds.

The Ri-scope® L3 Ophthalmoscope has a "C" battery handle that uses 2 Ri-accu® L Lithium batteries which are included (Spare Part #RAYRL123AB). This ophthalmoscope includes the handle and the head. It is made in Germany and comes with a 2 year warranty.

Choose Illumination Type

The Ri-scope® L3 Ophthalmoscope comes in a choice of either 3.5V Xenon Illumination or 3.5V LED Illumination. Choose the illumination type of your choice from the drop-down menu above.
