Ri-scope L2 Ophthalmoscope

The Riester Ri-scope® L2 Ophthalmoscope features high-performance optics and LED/Li-Ion technology. Excellent for the examination of the fundus to screen for eye diseases and conditions of the retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels.

It features a modular design with aspherical condenser lens and reduced reflection. Thumb rest offers great control. Aperture hand wheel is easy to operate.

The Ri-scope® L2 Ophthalmoscope has a dipoter wheel with 29 corrective lenses; +1-10, +12, +15, +20, and +40, and -1-10, -15, -20, -25, -30, and -35. It features an easy to use aperture hand wheel with semi-circle, small/medium/large circle, fixation star, and slit. It has a filter wheel for all apertures which has a symbol display, red-free filter, blue filter and polarization filter.

The L2 Ophthalmoscope has an aspherical condenser lens and a parallel beam path. It has the Rheotronic® electronic switch for automatic switch-off after 120 seconds for conservation of the batteries. It uses a 2 "C" Ri-accu® L Lithium Batteries which are included (spare part #RAYRL123AB). This opthalmoscope includes the handle and the head. It is made in Germany and comes with a 2 year warranty.

The Ri-scope® L2 Ophthalmoscope comes with a choice of either 3.5V Xenon Illumination or 3.5V LED Illumination. Select your illumination choice from the drop-down menu above before adding the ophthalmoscope to your cart.
