- Otoscope L1 (10563), L2 (10580 or 10565) or L3 (10581 or 10567)
- Ophthalmoscope L1 (10569), L2 (10571 or 10571-203) or L3 (10573 or 10573-203)
L1 is the most inexpensive and basic otoscope model available with this Wall System. It offers direct illumination and features a bi-directional swivelling optical glass with 3x magnification. This otoscope is suitable for pneumatic examination.
As well as the features of the L1 model (above), the L2 utilizes fiber optic technology for optimum light transmission, allowing for more accurate diagnosis and a more comfortable patient experience, as fiber optics remain cool during use. Its sealing optical glass makes it more suitable for pneumatic examination than the L1. This otoscope is available with a choice of standard xenon or advanced LED lighting.
The L3 otoscope utilizes fiber optic technology for an unparalled, clear view into the inner ear, allowing for highly accurate diagnosis. As well as the features of the L2 (above), this otoscope includes an operation lens with 4x magnification and an enlarged conduit for easy insertion of other instruments. L3 features SpecEjec, an easy-to-use specula ejection feature designed for hygeinic and simple disposal of used probe covers. Available with a choice of standard xenon or advanced LED lighting.
This is the most inexpensive ophthalmsocope model available with this Wall System, but still has all the basic functions required for thorough examination and accurate diagnosis. It includes a diopter wheel with 29 corrective lenses, and an easy-to-use, marked aperture wheel with semi-circle, small, medium and large circle, fixation star, slit and red-free filters, which have a contrast-enhancing effect for easier viewing. The ophthalmoscope has an aspherical condenser lens and parallel beam path for high-performance optics, and is dust-proof for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Above the features of the L1 (above), the L2 includes a filter wheel engageable for all the above apertures as well as red-free, blue and polarization filters. Available with standard xenon or advances LED lighting.
L3 is the highest level ophthalmoscope model available with this Wall System, and boasts an impressive array of additional features. It has corrective lenses for 89 individual diopter values in single-step gradients, and the aperture wheel has a full range of apertures and filters. This vast range of possible combinations allows for successful examination and diagnosis, and allows clear visuals of less obvious eye problems such as scratches on the cornea. The ophthalmoscope also has a focusing device with zero retention force for the quick correction of ametropias. This device is dust-proof and available with standard xenon or advanced LED lighting.
