The G90-214-8 RedDot Aluminum Crutches from Medline is a lightweight walking aids with built-in features that promote stability, ease of use, and comfort.
The most important function of a crutch is weight bearing, and with its double extruded center tube, the G90-214-8 provides that strength at the point where it is most needed. The center tube is constructed as an I-beam to help reduce any wobbliness when using the crutches, and is secured with durable rivets to provide more stability than plastic connectors.
The G90-214-8 Red Dot Crutches differ from the Standard Crutches by featuring the patented clip-lock handles instead of the standard screw and nut lock. This innovative feature allows quick and easy height adjustment. (See additional images)
The G90-214-8 RedDot Aluminum Crutch includes innovative safety features such as the virtually unbreakable stair deflector. The stair deflector is mounted at the point where the center tube extrudes from the outer frame, and helps protect against the crutch slipping on or getting caught on stairs. It also increases stress tolerance of the crutch at all angles of use to prevent sudden cracking. The crutch is outfitted with non-skid rubber tips for good traction.
Underarm pads and handgrips are made of comfortable but sturdy polyurethane material. Its built-in metal ring helps prevent excessive wear and ensures maximum durability.
Medline crutches are constructed under rigorous standards, and meet or exceed all relevant requirements and standards set by the FDA, ISO and other regulatory bodies. Medline crutches are backed by a lifetime warranty on the frame, and a 6 month warranty on components.
