The QuickVue H. pylori gII test is a rapid, non-invasive test that is simple to perform. It is used to diagnose H. pylori by detecting IgG antibodies specific to Helicobacter pylori in plasma, whole blood or serum.

This lateral-flow immuno-chromatographic assay has a simple one step method that is easy to perform by physicians. It features two color results and control lines that make it easier to interpret. Results are available in 5 minutes allowing for immediate treatment upon diagnosis. A pictorial guide is included in the kit to simplify the testing process and reduce risk of mistakes.

The kit can be stored at room temperature and has a 14 months dating from time of manufacturing. This allows for usage by low volume labs. The kit includes all the necessary components for testing.
