Covidien Nellcor™ Bedside SpO2 Patient Monitoring System provides a portable and space-saving solution with a perfect combination of extended functionality and intuitive operation. Intended to provide a continuous, non-invasive monitoring of SpO2 and pulse rate, the System ensures consistent accuracy, ease of maintenance and an exceptional use convenience.

Extended Functionality
The SpO2 Monitoring System has been designed with the implementation of latest Nellcor™ signal processing technology that is proven to provide superior measurement capabilities even under difficult monitoring conditions. It ensures accurate SpO2 and pulse rate readings at all times and under various degrees signal interference including low perfusion and patient motion. The device features 1% to 100% SpO2 and 20 to 250 bpm measurement range on both neonate and adult patients. The Monitor is capable of displaying plethysmographic waveforms, pulse amplitude, and current measured SpO2 and pulse rate. As a result the Bedside System delivers a dependable and versatile solution that every professional can depend on.

Excellent Features
The Nellcor™ SpO2 Bedside Monitor comprises a high quality TFT LCD display that brings unit operation and use convenience to a distinctively new level. The display provides 30º of viewing cone and optimal viewing distance of 1 meter. It features a while backlight and color indicators of the measured parameters on the black font that ensures excellent contrast. The conveniently located visual indicators provide comprehensive information on monitoring progress and Oximeter settings. To ensure exceptional ease of operation, the Monitor shows on-screen help messages that effectively assist the user while the deice navigation and control is excreted with a help of an easy-to-use jog dial. In addition, the Monitoring System has a capability of storing up to 96 hours of patient trend data with a total of 88000 data events. The monitoring trend data can also be saved in a graphical format with total of two graphs, one for SpO2 and one for pulse rate parameters. All the stored information can be transferred to a PC for the further archivation and analysis. The Oximeneter is equipped with a Li-Ion battery that provides up to 5 hours of continuous on battery operation.

SatSeconds Alarm Management
Customizable Monitor alarms include visual and audible signals for high/low saturation, pulse rate and others. The SatSeconds alarm management function allows for a smoother and much more efficient SpO2 monitoring. This function not only allows for upper and lower alarm limits setting, but also for setting the monitoring limits of %SpO2 level below the selected lower alarm limit and above the selected upper alarm limit for a period of time before an audible alarm sounds. The given technology helps for a more efficient use of Monitor capabilities and reduces unnecessary destruction for medical stuff.

Space-Saving Design
The System is intended to deliver an easily transportable, space-saving solution and features 3.23"H x 10.04"W x 6.50"D size and 3.5 lbs weight. A truly convenient built in handle seamlessly converts the monitor into a portable unit.
