The Riester E-scope® Ophthalmoscope uses innovative LED technology combined with renowned optics for a more efficient diagnosis. This device aids in the examination of the fundus or the back part of the eye, which includes the retina, optic disc, choroid, and blood vessels. It produces brighter, whiter light, yet it saves on maintenance costs. It utilizes cutting edge technology and offers a wide choice of light sources for specific specialist needs. High performance optics are packaged in an optimally sized unit for clinical use.

The E-scope® Ophthalmoscope has an "AA" battery handle. It features a Diopter disc with 18 corrective lenses; +/- 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, and 20 diopters. It has an easy to use aperture wheel with six different apertures; fixation star, large circle, small circle, red free filter, blue filter, and semi circle.

The E-scope® Ophthalmoscope has optics that offer high performance, with an aspherical condenser lens. It has spectacle protection and a parallel optical path. It comes in a hard case for protection and storage of the instrument, and it is pocket-sized for great convenience. It is made in Germany and comes with a 2 year warranty.
