The COULTER ACT Rinse Shutdown Diluent is used to remove protein buildup from the sensing cavities of a hematology analyzer. It is used for COULTER A^CT 8, A^CT 10, A^CT diff, and A^CT diff 2.

As blood flows through a hematology analyzer protein builds up in the apertures over time. Eventually the orifices become blocked. The proteolytic enzyme is a shutdown diluent that reacts with and dissolves the protein in and around the orifices.

The Ac-T Rinse shut down diluent reagent is available in 500ml.
