Ac-T diff CBC analyzer from Beckman Coulter combines their proven histogram differentiation technology with a compact, practical design and efficient throughput, making it an ideal choice for the low-volume needs of a physician's office or small lab. Beckman Coulter's powerful performance and quality and high levels of accuracy provide the standard against which other instruments are measured.
Affordable, flexible efficiency: The Ac-T diff analyzer uses automatic scanning to improve testing efficiency at an affordable price. Complete Blood Count (CBC) results for 16 or 18 different parameters are obtained in one simple step from a small 12µL sample of capillary or venous blood in less than 60 seconds. The system's innate flexibility allows technicians to alternate between whole blood and 20µL pre-diluted (from onboard diluent dispener) samples, and aspirate them at the touch of a button. Automated scanning offers all the features needed to accurately and quickly produce dependable results with minimal effort.
Advanced technology: Ac-T diff comes with a choice of two complete reagent systems which feature products developed for maximum performance and that meet the criteria for market-specific quality control. Beckman Coulter's advanced technology includes triplicate counting, proven histogram differentials, patented sweepflow technology and extended platelet counting: combined, these methods allow for highly accurate, reliable results. Additionally, this system can be programmed with user-defined flags for high/low results, ensuring that symptoms of potential illnesses are immediately detected.
User friendly: This analyzer features a user-friendly touchscreen with an icon-driven, language-independent interface, designed to facilitate high throughput and easy use. It displays all results in a single screen. It has fully automated start-up and shutdown, ensuring maximum uptime and that the system always ready to go. Ac-T diff features a small, compact design, which allows it to be placed anywhere and helps save space in busy clinical labs which may be short on space. The system also allows for efficient data management and patient identification, and has allocated storage space for patient and control samples. The system provides graphic prints of results, including histograms, available in a choice of six different reporting profiles, which can be customized to include the institution's header. It can also store up to 250 patient results. This analyzer can be used with optional veterinary software.
Low maintenance: Ac-T diff does not require any routine maintenance, and the system's tried-and-tested high levels of reliability help contain costs and simplify use. An automated probe wipe safely cleans the probe between samples, ensuring clean testing and no cross-contamination between samples. This instrument is ideal for labs performing up to 50 CBCs per day.
Pak reagent kit: This kit contains two different reagent solutions: a balanced electrolyte solution for use as an isotonic buffered diluent solution for counting and sizing blood cells, and a lytic reagent for quantitively determining hemoglobin and for counting and sizing leukocytes.
Tainer reagent kit: This kit contains three different reagent solutions: a balanced electrolyte solution for use as an isotonic buffered diluent solution for counting and sizing blood cells, a lytic reagent for quantitively determining hemoglobin and for counting and sizing leukocytes, and a shutdown diluent for removing protein build-ups on components of the analyzer that come into contact with blood samples.
