The core of this product, the Spot Vital Signs® module, is designed to function as the central data gathering and processing unit of vital signs information. All vital signs - including blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and temperature - can be taken in under thirty seconds as the SureBP® blood pressure cuff is inflating automatically, and digitally displayed on the easy to read LCD display.
The information can then be sent wirelessly to an EHR system.
Spot Vital Signs®LXi
With the Spot Vital Signs® LXi, Welch Allyn has engineered a product that can handle all aspects of the vital sign collection and transcription process more efficiently than ever. It may be ordered with blood pressure and oral or ear thermometry alone, or it may be upgraded with your choice of Masimo® or Nellcor® pulse oximetry. Height and weight, pain level, and respiratory rate can be manually keyed in and patient BMI calculated. Readings are taken within 15 seconds as the cuff inflates. All the information gathered can then be sent wirelessly to your EHR system, thus reducing the chance of error and the time spent gathering and entering the information. The device also automatically stores 50 readings for printing or downloading later. The result: a more efficient and pleasant experience for both patient and provider.
